Rogelio Paller “Roger” Miranda, 79, of Lorain, passed away Wednesday December 11, 2019. 

He was born August 15, 1940 in Iloilo, Philippines to Constancio & Josefa Miranda (nee Paller).  He earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the Philippines.  In 1971, he moved to the United States and settled in Cleveland later moving to Lorain in 1977. 

Roger worked at Cole National in Cleveland and then for the Avon Lake Ford Truck Plant from 1975 to 2002 when he retired. 

He was a member to St Peter Parish in Lorain and the United Auto Workers.  He was an avid fisherman who loved to fish on Lake Erie and enjoyed working on cars, in the yard, gardening and helping his neighbors.  He loved the times he spent with his children and grandchildren. 

He is survived by his wife Zenaida Miranda (nee Gabriel), children: Janet Miranda Sniezek (Richard) and their children: Alexandra (deceased in 2019), Jacob and Charles; Christopher Miranda, Jocelyn Miranda Griffin (David) and their children: David, Jack & Gabrielle; Jennilyn Miranda and Charlie Miranda (Danielle) and their children: Andrew and Aubrey.
