Bob’s career spanned many diverse work opportunities and occupations. Starting with Goodyear in Akron, OH; Meyer Goldberg Grocery Store in Lorain for several years; becoming an entrepreneur and managing his own “International Employment” business; and in his later years concluding his career as a Prudential Insurance Agent until his retirement in 1999.

Active in the local community, Bob held memberships with the Society for Advancement of Management and the Newman Club.  He was the Ambassador Club co-chairman for the 1965 Lorain Chamber of Commerce Club Miss Lorain Pageant and a member of the Lorain High School Planning Committee for class reunions.  Not readily known was Bob’s blood donor commitments providing many gallons for those in need.

An avid outdoorsman and sports enthusiast, Bob enjoyed hunting, loved spending time in nature, relaxing on his boat “The Kurtzee” on Lake Erie, a lifetime member of the Polish Fishermen’s Club of Lorain, gardening, and companionship with his dogs.  He was a devoted Cleveland, Bowling Green and Toledo University, Ohio State and local sport teams fan.

Left to cherish Bob’s memory are his beloved children; Robert Jr (Patti) of Lorain, Michelle (John) Siters of Amherst and Brian (Debra) of Coppell, Texas, as well as his beloved grandchildren; Sarah Siters, McKenzie Siters, Megan Siters, Amanda Kurtz, Jessica Kurtz, Evan Siters, Ashley Kurtz, Savannah Kurtz.
