Michael A. Golobich, age 63, of Lorain, passed away at Mercy Regional Medical Center during the early morning hours on Tuesday December 14, 2021. Born in Lorain on September 2, 1958, he was a graduate of Admiral King High School and a life-long resident of Lorain.

He had been employed as a laborer in the construction industry for a variety of firms including Gross Brothers and Ed Sedicy Masonry.

In his free time Michael enjoyed spending time on his Ipad and staying abreast of current events by reading the locaL newspapers from first page to last. He was also an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians / Guardians professional sports franchises.

He leaves sisters Gail Georgio (Paul) and Donna Golobich both of Lorain, Mary Jo Golobich of Brookhaven, Pennsylvania, Kathy Davis (Dave) of Tampa, Florida, and Debbie Golobich of Elyria along with his brother Robert Golobich of Lorain. In addition, he leaves a host of nieces and nephews.

Michael was preceded in death by his father Michael J. Golobich in 1971, mother Rose Marie Golobich (nee Jacovetti) in 1993, brother William “Big Bill” Golobich in 2014, and sisters Patty Golobich in 2016, and Diane Pollack in 2020.

His cremated remains will be interred privately during graveside services conducted in Calvary Cemetery.
