Alice Mae Farsetti (née Haley) age 86, and a resident of Anchor Lodge Nursing Home, passed away peacefully due to respiratory failure on the evening of Saturday February 18, 2017 while surrounded by her children. She went to be with the Lord on her late husband, Sam Farsetti Sr.’s birthday.

Alice was a lifelong resident of Lorain; in her earlier years she enjoyed polka dancing at the United Polish Club as well as working at Ann’s Soda Grill where she had many friends and many good times.

Alice was a wonderful cook, a loving mother, a great sister, and a wonderful friend who’s uplifting and humorous personality really lit up a room.

She will be sorely missed by many including the caregivers and fellow residents at the Anchor Lodge Nursing Facility.

Alice was born on November 24th 1930 in Lorain to the late George and Mary (nee Ksenich) Haley.

She is survived by her children Jim of Warren Ohio, John of Elyria, Alice of Myrtle Beach South Carolina, Ron of Hilton Head, South Carolina, along with Carol and Sam Jr. both of Lorain. In addition, she leaves two grandchildren, one great grandchild, sister Dorothy Robbins of Lorain, and brothers George Haley of Chicago, Gilbert Hally of Henderson, Nevada, and Bill Haley of Hilton Head, South Carolina,

Alice was preceded in death by her husband Sam Farsetti, Sr. in 2015, parents George and Mary Haley, sister Mary Jane Johnson, and brothers Albert Haly, Bob Haly, and John Hally.
