Timothy P. Crompton, 59, of Lorain, died suddenly on Saturday September 29, 2018.

He was born October 31, 1958 in Washington, Pennsylvania and had resided in Lorain for the past 26 years.

Tim graduated from Edinboro University in Edinboro, Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree of Arts.  He worked at Arcelor Mittal Steel in Cleveland.  He was a member of St. Peter Parish in Lorain, loved his grandchildren, was an avid fisherman and hunter and was always around to offer encouragement to his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years Marian Crompton (nee Hromada), stepchildren: Craig (Kelly) Sidorowicz of Largo, Florida and Laura (Greg) Canada of Cookeville, Tennessee; step grandchildren: Ty & Carter Canada; mother Jan Crompton (nee Murdock) of Largo, Florida and sister Kimberly (Doug) Boyer of Parma.  He was preceded in death by his father Paul Crompton.
