He was inducted into the United States Army in January of 1951 where he fulfilled duty assignments as a Corporal attached to Company C of the 6th Infantry during the Korean War. The recipient of the Army Occupation Medal, he was a long-time member of Italian-American Veterans Post # 1.

Frank had been employed for more than a half century by the Lorain Glass Company where began his career there as a glazier. Through skill, dedication and a strong work ethic he was ultimately promoted to the role of supervisor retiring in 1999.

He was an active parishioner of St. Nicholas Byzantine Rite Church in Lorain where he was a member and past President of the Holy Name Society, served as a volunteer in the kitchen, and helped with the maintenance and beautification of the church grounds. He also served as the weekly bingo caller there for thirty-five years and was proud to have crafted the cross that adorns the church’s dome.
